Project Description: A Veterinary Teaching Hospital with approximately 135,000 gross square feet (GSF), on two floors with a mechanical penthouse located at the corner of Raymond Stotzer Parkway and Agronomy Road.

Project Costs: $181,000,000


The Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences’ (VMBS) new Linda & Dennis Clark ’68 Small Animal Teaching Hospital (SATH), located on the corner of Agronomy Road and Raymond Stotzer Parkway (former location of Veterinary Medical Sciences Building 507), will be approximately 135,000 square feet, house 15 of the Small Animal Teaching Hospital’s (SATH) specialty referral services, including oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, dentistry, nutrition, and interventional radiology.

There also will be more space allocated for the SATH’s Emergency Service and Intensive Care Unit. Additional faculty, staff, and student wellness spaces — including client comfort rooms, a pharmacy, space for diagnostic imaging — and areas for training and other building support will also be located within the new building.

The new Linda & Dennis Clark ’68 Small Animal Teaching Hospital is set to open in fall 2027.
