AggieWorks, Maintenance, AMPT, IMS, and Communications Center Food Drive

Maintenance Food DriveAggieWorks coordinated their first ever food drive and asked Maintenance, Asset Management Program Team, Information Management Services, and the Communications Center to participate.  The food drive brought in a total of 441 items that were donated to The 12th Can, a student-run food pantry located at Texas A&M to serve all students, faculty, and staff in need of assistance this holiday season and anytime of the year. Next year, AggieWorks plans to start even earlier in hopes of doubling the amount collected this year!

Associate Angels of SSC make the Holidays a Little Brighter

AggieWorks Angel

Brenda Barton, Sarah Boreen, Stephanie King, Kristina Lawrence, and Alice Wiese adopted two children through the MSC ALOT (Aggie Leaders of Tomorrow) service program, Angel Tree, run by the Salvation Army.  Through their collaborative efforts, these SSC associates were able to supply a little boy and girl with their wish gift of a bike as well as clothing items and shoes.  The thought of seeing the excitement on their faces made these SSC ladies smile.
